My girlfriend and I are going to the Delta for Memorial Day and we were wondering where a good place to stay (that won't brake the bank) would be.

Suggestions?...

If you get out early enough (or stay late enough), you can get some good water on the delta over Memorial Day. Water generally stays good pre-11 am ish, as long as its not super windy.

I've camped at Orwood over Memorial Day weekend 2003. Can't say that I would recommend it (let's kindly say its very dirty and crowded), but it is not expensive and near good water. Good luck.

With over 1000 miles of waterways- you can always find good safe water. Stay away from the populated areas and you'll be fine.

I know Joe...I'm just checkin' the options...

Are any off these places mentioned in or by stockton?

Windmill Cove is near to Stockton for camping. There are also a whole pile of motels in the greater Stockton area.

Check it on hotels.com or sidestep.com

How do you think Lost Isle will be on Memorial Day Weekend? Specifically on Sunday 5/29?

Insane. Ridiculous. Off the hook.

Be careful, the sherriff is going to be lurking about for sure, just waiting for DUI's to be handed out around Lost Isle.
