In Relentless he does 3 or 4 whirly 7's. He's the only one doin them I think.

Its actually different from parks whirly 7. Parks does it with both rotations over head. Soven i think calls his a whirly dick. the first 360 is over head the second 360 is handle pass.

Pretty sure he does a whirly 7, and some whirly dicks as Kevin says in Relentless. I remember Parks throwin one in a contest a good few years back but he threw it after his ride, has he thrown any in contest format?

Has anyone every landed the whirly 7 in a comp before? I knew it wasn't a new trick, but maybe new in a PWT stop? whirlydick and whirly 7 aren't the same thing right? I thought the whirlydick was just a handle pass whirlybird instead of overhead.

Yup, got it on video (it's might be a little hard to tell on the internet version because he pulled it at the far end of the lake at OWC) What about the HEELSIDE 900 off the double up... Both will be posted on wakeworld sooooon (still in FL..)

So did he do a whirly dick or a whirly 7. To me, those are totally different tricks. I'm pretty sure he only did whirly dicks in Relentless. I don't think I'd say one is easier than the other, but they are deffinitely different. On a side note.... I wonder if Parks could do a whirly seven any more. His mass is so much more centralized now. Ha, ha.

soven does a whirly dick. i know he has not done whirly 7s on video ever. Also i think that a whirly dick is harder due to the handle pass. imo

I only saw a heel 7 off the double in that video. Besides that, I saw a backside 5, stock o/a toe 7 and some stylish grabbed mobes. Super good riding from Froggy...I am impressed. On a side note, when is it cool for someone to change their name? Why Phillip? Why not Phil? I'm sticking with Froggy until I get an answer.

Couple of years back Shaun Murray announced at the Gravel Tour that Phillip and Robert Soven no longer wished to be know as " Froggy and Tadpole" and wanted to be known as the Phillip and Robert.

I talked to him the other day. He proceded to tell me that his parents hought him a 2004 (or 2005 can't remember) Avalanche, with 24's and its got some high-tec system. He said, "I work hard for what I get... sometimes" He's super funny, and an amazing wakeboarder. Props to you Phil! *Danielle

I was in the same bus from the airport to the car rental section at the Ft Worth stop last year, and Phillip was in the back of the bus and his dad in the front sitting next to me. I thought it was Phillip but wasnt sure, and his dad (who I of course didnt recognize) was wearing a Vans shirt and I asked him if he worked for them. He said he was "Froggy's dad" and pointed towards Phillip in the back. ...maybe its just been relegated to a family nickname now...

whirly 7's were being landed way back, like as far back as 98 or 99 i think. Brannon Johnson and Parks were doin 'em for sure. I'm not sure but i think they were dismissed for being really hard, but really gay too. They looked hucked. It's cool if froggy's doin them smooth though. Don't take it too hard that he's killin' it...keep in mind he's been riding for 10/11 years (check out high wake drifters).
