for the slow motion i right clicked on the clip and selected "speed." a box will pop up and it allows you to enter a number. 100=regular speed, 50=half speed, 200=2x speed and so on. for the size, i compressed the video down to 10mb by selecting export timeline-> advanced windows media. you then can select how much you want to compress the video by the bitrate you select. i usually use the 386 bitate (or whatever it is) because it makes a 4min video around 10mb.

Hmm I figured out the slo-mo, but when I go to export, I do not have an "Advanced Windows Media" option. Do I have to download it as a plugin or something?

Im using premier 6.5, it's not in it but there is another thing that is likely similar. When I export at 386 kb/s (or whatever it is) the video becomes very blotchy and pixelated. Maybe its my camera, I dont know. My camera is not mini dv, just a normal sony digital 8 (dcrtrv340). Thanks (Message edited by sn0w on May 28, 2003)

when you export to 386 kb/s it is GOING to look crappy, that is how the video is only 10mb. its just the way it goes.
