I am looking at buying a 93 correctcraft nautique excel, I am trying to get something that will get me out on the water and its my first boat so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them, positive, negative, or indifferent, thanks.
Ed, Two summers ago, there was a guy with one on our river. I think he ran a moderate amount of weight in it, and it through a decent wake. Nothing huge, but clean and real nice shape. I definitely think it would be a good starter boat. good luck.
i bought the exact boat last year and love it. it is the cheapest way to get into a v-drvie and it has a sweet wake. i just took all of the decals off the side of mine, and thinking of put the air logo on it. check my profile for a photoshop version of it
ed i just read your profile. i used to ride at claytor all the time. my parents live in dublin cove. i will be down that way this summer some if u want to check out my boat.
wakeboardcamp in thailand uses this boat. 400 up in front and a fatsack in the back 3/4 people and the wake is good.it holds speed very well.no negatives nice boat
That's a pretty rare boat. Most of the people who have them seem to hold on to them for a while. Like everything that old, depends on how it was cared for but it would make a good wakeboard boat for sure.
