Started working on the backroll to revert today. I keep over rotating and the board slides out from under me. Any pointers. I will shoot a video tomorrow and upload.
Did a bit of searching. Seems one thing could be that you're under-rotating the spin as opposed to over-rotating the roll. Try to shove the handle in your back pocket as you finish to really get you over your toes. I haven't heard of this and that could be why I still have this problem after landing my 1st years ago.
Brian is right, I'm the guy in that vid and I've finally started landing them, the key for me is keeping the handle as far back toward my back pocket as possible. Try some fs 180s landing with two hands on the handle, that really helped me.
Thanks again for the tips. Finally nailed this trick today! Landed 5 in a row on my second (last) set of the day. Couldn't be more stoked! There is no better feeling then stomping a new trick.
