But it's snow! I thought that's why people lived in FL, CA, and other southern states? So they could wakeboard year round!

Then there's a variety of indoor wave options.

dallas is or was suppose to be getting a snowpark of some sort. Dont know if it fell through or not. Cant remember but I want to say that when I saw it on the local news it was suppose to be indoors

I think it got put on the shelf, has to do with the economy and I believe a legal dispute with Intel over the land it was to be built on.

Not suprising if its a dead deal. Everyone I know doing commercial stuff is hurting right now. Not much lending happening

They've been around for a while. I skied at the Midlothian Snowsports Centre in Scotland in the summer of 1972. It was a good day because the drizzling rain made the hill fast. Of course you had to watch out for the sheep that were grazing on the grass poking up from the plastic grid we skied on.
You can make snow when the temp is as high as 40°F if you have a good enough system. So with a lot of money you could have a ski area in OK

looks like north fort worth is scrapped for now but grapevine has one coming supposedly!
