According to moomba's site, the 2009 Outback V has undergone some changes. Has anyone had a chance to see the wake and how it compares to prior years? Also, what are the fully loaded prices at the boat shows? I looked at a 2006 a couple of years ago and it just seemed way too shallow.

search on Moomba.com message board. Ed G has an 09.
There is a complete breakdown on his being built, tested and he has been surfing in it pretty regularly... Search 2009 Outback V and Moomba Martha...
He is pleased!

Saw it, sat in it, and crawled around it at the Portland Boat show. Man, what an impressive boat... feels much roomier than 20'0".

I saw one at my local dealer loaded up. The only thing missing was it had the ballast 1 option instead of the 3. Bottom line was $38,500.

I think this will be one of the best 20 foot wakes of 09. A picture is worth a thousand words

When I drove the new hull, I could not believe how solid and quite it was. I dont remember what Moomba called the new stringer system but something like a foam filled product. Anyways it was a considerble improvement of the old hull.

Those boats in the pictures are not even going the same speed of the pictures taken from the same distance. That is a joke. I am not bashing the wake because it might be nice, but the marketing of it is a joke.

Those pictures are directly out of Waterski magazine's Boat buyers guide. That isn't Moomba's marketing.

I have the 09 Outback V. The boat is fricken awesom. I'm a repeat Moomba owner and this model is the very best I've ever owned. Remarkably well built

The boat makes a fantastic wake. It produces a very surfable wake right out of the box.

At 32 mph it produces a relatively flat ski wake.

Moomba refers to this boat as "the cross-over specialist".

These photos were shot with the stock 450 lb rear sac replaced with a 750 and the 400 sac in the front filled. Only have to go 9.0 miles per hour!

With the new gravity 3 ballast, the 750 lb sacs fill in 7 minutes, the 400 fills in 3.5 minutes.
