OK so I've been looking through some old forums and have found some info on Acme props. From what I can read is that the 475 or the 1235 will be a good prop for me. I board alot with 2000+ pounds and also surf quit a bit. But I can't seem to find the 475 anywhere. I will call Acme direct and ask what they think but would also like some feedback from WWer's. I'm not worried about losing top end just want something to jump out of hole a little better. Also someone said one of the props would be better for cavitation. Any knowledge would be great.

I second the OJ 475. It gives the low end of the 1235 without giving up so much top end.

I've got a 1235 on mine and it has worked great. I did lose some off the top end, but I don't run that fast anyway. I'm using about .5 - 1 gph less in fuel with the 1235 and it gets out of the hole with ease.

Well, thanks for the info. I guess it comes down to if your an Acme guy or OJ guy. All I know is that I'm looking forward to getting alot better hole shot. Right now with 2000+ in ballast it takes about 10-15 seconds to get up to speed.

Acme has a new 1237 prop that is way better than the 1235. I got a new boat, ordered the 1235 but it came with the 1237. My buddy dinged the 1237 and while it was getting repaired, we used the 1235 and hated it!! 1237 is the shiat when running a lot of ballast!
