I've been on wakeworld for a few years now and still don't know what CIE is. Is it a group or something? What does it stand for? Do you have to get beat in to join? Any mandatory tattoos?

I think Rich hit the nail on the head. The CIE guys are great people. Down for the riding, the cause and out to have fun. Great group of people and the riders they have are extremely friendly and fun to be around.

Tony rides for CIE as well. They are just a group of guys that want to push the sport of wakeboarding. They sell shirts and do other things to promote themselves. They also pay entry fees for some of there riders that ride in the many different events held on the Delta.

From what I've concluded by reading the forums for the past years, CIE = slammed boats, big wakes, and stylish riding.

"CIE = slammed boats, big wakes, and stylish riding." Thanks Roddyrod.... I got kinda teary eyed reading that. It makes me soo proud. Ha, ha, ha. What we are: Clothing and Promotions company. What it stands for: Concussion Isn't Enough What we're about: We're a bunch of close friends that love to ride and have a good time. The company is an excuse to be more involved in wakeboarding. We do what we can to support the grassroots scene, not because we think we're "core", but because that's where our friends are. We try to ride with as many different people as we can and have been fortunate enough to witness some pretty progressive riding over the years. We definitely like our wakes big and our moves tweaked, but we also get stoked on new riders being hooked by the sport that hooked us. Did I mention that we really like to have a good time.... Oh, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are sincerely thankful all the friends we've made and the support we've gotten over the years. A bunch of guys on this thread are definitely part of the crew. If you see us reppin' somebody you know there's a good reason. We try to take good care of those that take care of us. ~Now.... I wanna go ride~

I will get in that cage with the great KONG. All I need to do is make sure I have two cases of coors light and he will be sitting in the corner like big old teddy bear.

Okay, sounds fun, esp. the Spring ride. Already thinking about next season. How can I get on a mailing list. I'd like to support more of the local events and maybe get one or more of my kids involved in some tournament riding. Thanks, Les

CIE guys have been absolutely wonderful to my family. I have three boys 15, 13 & 11 years old and these guys make them and my wife feel like family. Keep up the good work, we are growing the water sport industry together.

Is there a Redding chapter for CIE, and are you required to own a X2 or a XStar?

Hey Steve, we're not a club or exclusive group by any means. We try to support a few key riders with the limited funds we generate. Really we're just out to make as many friends as possible. Stop by our booth for some stickers at the Spring Ride.
