I'm doing the WakeBoard Stargazer upgrade install on my 2008 Sanger V215 myself because my dealer wanted $115 to install it.
I asked why so much and they said because they drill a hole about an inch or two in front of the windshield to place the GPS module because they believe that by placing it by the dash under the windshield could cause loss of GPS signal lock.

I live in Houston, Texas...so what do you techies think, where should the GPS module go to get the best uninterrupted signal? I live near sealevel so there are no hills or mountains to disrupt the signal as well.

Please let me know ASAP as I'm doing the install this weekend.

Thanks.
