I have built some new tanks to go in the back of my V210. After a season of having 500 pound bags back there I decided to ditch them and make some hard tanks. Because of the way I had my subs it also ment remaking those box's. I used to have 2 10's (one in each locker) but I decided to remove one 10 and build a ported box for the other. The single ported 10 is waaaaay louder and deeper than both 10's together. I designed the port to fire up the gunnel of the boat and it gives the boat a very intense bass feel. The tanks work out much better than the bags, they fill & empty quicker, don't leak & don't require any repositioning when filling them up which is a major plus. I made the tanks out of treated marine ply, epoxied and then sealed inside and out using a bitumen rubber product, time will tell how long they will stay intact. The tanks lift in and out in about 5 mins for servicing. They weight 350 pounds each full.
SWEET , ever thought about making them with small grate in bottom and putting lid on the top so you could use for storage when empty? I'm thinking about doing same thing for my VLX
