So I've done some searches and found some good stuff but I was hoping for a little more information.
We definitley use 303 to "protect" the vinyl...But what does eveyone use each time out to CLEAN the vinyl? We've used the 3M stuff which didn't do much. The Magic Erasers work wonders but are expensive and a lot of work to do every single time out.
Ive used stuff called 2001, its in a green bottle at any auto parts store. Been using it for years, seems to work fine-cleans and has uv protection. You just have to rub it in good or its ends up slippery.
It removes the dirt easily, conditions, and leaves an spf on your interior to protect from the sun. You can get it at most auto supply stores like Kragen.
The vinyl care inserts that came with both my '04 Supra and '05 Malibu both recommended soap/water, then Fantastic. Works great, can find at any grocery store.
Some items it warns against are 409, Simple Green, etc.

Thanks guys. I might go the Fantastic route since it's so cheap! Why do they say not to use Simple Green? I've heard of many people using it with no problems...or at least no problems for now!
Yeah, I'm a Magic Eraser Groupie as well. I did read on one of the discussion boards that Bounty is getting in on this type of 'eraser' action. For Heavy Duty cleaning 3M has a product for Vinyl that works pretty well. And then finish if off with 303.
I just picked up some 3M Scotchgard Mold & Mildew Preventer. It claims to penetrate and prevent mildew formation for 3 months. It also claims to be non-toxic and safe to use around children. ~$7 for 16 oz. spray bottle. It specifically stated for use on boat upholstery as well as outdoor furniture.
