I have a Sunsetter (1986) and I am going to change the stripe color this off season. Any opinions on the best option factoring cost and durability:
1)Imron paint
2)Vinyl
3)Gelcoat

if you don't care if it only lasts go with vinyl for the low cost, ease of application. If you don't mind spending the money gelcoat would be the best overall because it won't tear or fade like vinyl. I would stay away from paint it won't match your gelcoat finish very well
