i use ulead mediastudio pro 6.5, do you not have any software for this. I made a video when i was in high school, but i only used sony movieshaker which was on the computer already, I then had to make a senior video and thats when i got ulead mediastudio.

ive never even heard of ulead, but i use premiere pro and i think its an excellent program. may be more powerful than you need, but worth checking out. i believe they also have a student/teacher program that you can buy it cheaper through. http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/main.html

Avid Media Composer is King of the Hill, but Avid DV is the best for home applications. Just ask George Lucas or Peter Jackson.
