For anyone who has switched out the yellow ones for the green ones, have you noticed a difference in drain/fill time and has the green ones helped out with the leak by you get with the yellow ones?

I have the same boat as you and switched my KGB ballast pump from yellow to green. Haven't really noticed a difference. I switched because our KGB used to fill automatically if left on the dock overnight?

The talk on TMC owners is that the green ones are faster. I will be testing that out as soon as I get time to install the green impeller I have. I honestly doubt they are any faster, but I will see myself. I already timed it with the yellow.

The green impellers will definitely stop any passive leak issues that you may have.

green seems to leak less but it still leaks

GREEN LEAKS! I will say less than yellow, but my bags fill when just riding around the lake.

I'm going back to black. Some guys cleaned off any signs of corrosion/buildup on the brass plate of the ballast puppy, and slighly sanded down the edge of the black impeller and have been riding again no problem all summer. I'm going this route with a new Black. -Centurion owner and MC owner friend

Green stopped leak on my setup. (08 XStar, so no distributor box or check valves)

Switched to green immediately before having a chance to compare fill speed to yellow -- although know from a prior boat that black to yellow was a big slowdown (if the black ones were going, that is).

We've been discussing this topic a lot for my X2. When I 1st got the boat the pumps would really fire the water out when emptying. Not sure when it stopped, but the yellows do not spray nearly as fast. Softer compound moving less water? Or aging pumps? I've checked the impellers, they are fine.

So recently we took out the hard tanks and plumbed in the X-2 Fly-high sacks (the sacks are made for the new X-2, but I got them anyways). Well, we fill them and within 1 set they lose 4-5 inches off the top...and I have valves preventing water from leaking out the vent. That leaves no doubt water is leaking back through the pump. Time for check valves!

I'm leaning towards plumbing in Tsunamis. That 1100 CRUSHES the Jabscos. I fill the 1000lb bow sack with a tsunami before the Jabsco fills ONE 450 locker sack.

Lastly, I really do think we need more inlets, so I've bought a couple for a winter project. I know they SAY that having one 1.5" is enough...but I've always heard especially the rearmost pump on the line sucking air until the front and port side were complete....so I only run them one at a time.

just my .02
