This question is actually for my truck but anyone with monitors in their boat can answer this. Are there LCD's that can run solo without a dvd deck with an input so I can just plug in a video ipod and run movies off it? I think the video ipods have either an a/v or s video adapter so it is possible to listen and watch it on the go and being able to plug it into a bigger screen sounds great. Anyone know if this can work?

Yes it can, you need a adapter from s-video from the ipod adapter to regular a/v cable. I just bought one to do the same. Very simple.
