All depends on what you want to achieve. If you want to hear the tower speakers while riding, then 30 rms is probably not going to be enough and you are going to have some foul distortion when trying to get to those volumes. IF you want all around good sound while cruising, that wiring will work. If your goal it to hearing them while behind the boat, Run the cabin speakers off the head unit and give the tower and sub the rest of the power/channels. Just be aware of your ohm loads on the amp. From what it looks like, you have a good comprehension about ohms/series/parallel, so it should not be a problem.
