Hands down the RZ2 will have a better surf wave. Fit and finish will be nicer on the mastercraft but the newer Tiges are still very nice inside. No idea about the wakeboard wake.

Dennis is a Walker Project guru. I personally would stay away from a beginner board because it is really easy to outgrow them then you will kick yourself and wish you had a more advanced board.
