Rode behind a Star Gazer on the river last weekend. If you ride in a current, you have to adjust your speed. The paddle wheel compensates for the speed of the current, Stargazer does not...very slow...

Don't start that boat dry unless you have a water supply to the water intake on the bottom of the boat. If the impeller is dry, it won't take long to destroy it and that can lead to other problems....

yes, the tensioner wheel broke off the cover and came off in my hand. I will have to replace the tensioner spring cover at a minimum and possible the entire assembly.
