Agreed. Change the plugs and dist. And fuel filter all probably original from 04. Also throttle shifter cable might need to be tightened which might be causing the noises going into gear

They are NPT threads meaning they have a taper and the further it is threaded in the tighter it gets..... Can only be inserted in one direction.

That's impressive since the rotors on the tundra are way bigger diameter than the ram. I live in some pretty steep hills and mine are still like new with 20k+
