Well, it was the fuel pump... still stumped at why Mercruiser no longer sells the pump as an individual item and you have to now pay twice as much to get a fuel cooler that you don't even need! $433...

Thanks! I like the wake but don't have much to compare it to. I have only been behind a 2001 besides this. It throws a pretty decent surf wake for sure... that is pretty much all I do anymore...
