any of you have any experience with wiring new switches into the boat. On my 07 enzo, when I pull out stock switches for current ballst, there are a couple of spare black boxes wired in line with the current switch. can I use these for power for my new switches? thanx

Ryan - I am sending your switches and thru-hull drains Monday....I wish I lived closer so I could surf behind that Monster!

nate, sounds good buddy. do you have the wiring diagram for the switches once i get them?? can i just tap into the black boxes on the backside of the current switches. thanx

also, what do you have for the youth bindings in stock?

Got some really small Gator bindings..I think they will work for youth. I don't think there are any diagrams, but you can call Fineline West and they can guide you.

hey nate, just took the battery off my makita drill and did some testing. there are 5 prongs on the switch. one side has 3, other side has 2. i found out that the middle prong on 3 side is the power. and the other 2 on that side are power for the pumps. the other 2 prongs i'm guessing i tie into the power on the 3 side, and they are for the back lighting on the switch itself. I think i'm set to go. I'll take a power tester and test those black boxes already in there and see if there is power coming from them. thanx for any input. ryan

What kind of pumps are you using? How many amps?

trx1noob 06-10-2007 9:39 PM

hey kevin, tsunami 1200 gph for filling(i believe 6 amps) and 800 gph for draining(4 amp i believe) I've got a 30 amp fuse in between switch and power that i've tapped into. wired everything up and seems to be working great. time to go test it. I'm a little nervous, hope she dont' sink.lol I've rechecked every connection, I'll have someone with hand on through hull valve ready and waiting. now that i've done one, It's a fairly simple process.
