what is the easiest/efficent way to bleed trailer brakes without making a mess ? <BR> <BR>i was looking at a vacuum pumps and there are different ones- any suggestions ?

I do it the old way I use a mityvac hand suction pump. Works great.

Crack the bleeders open and let gravity take over. Just don't let the master cylinder get dry.

Why not? It will push the air out yes or no? I have seen it done many times and work just fine.

yea as long as the master cyl is higher than the outlets and there arent any "high spots" where air can settle in the lines. Basically brake lines have to be run like sewage. Gravity bleeding works well too im just impatient.

You still need to use a giant pry bar and work it just like a car, in that you pump the master up, then open the bleeders. I didn't look at the link above, but a pressure bleeder is the way to go.
