For whatever reason, things have been getting a little out of control on the WakeWorld Discussion Board lately. Our goal is to create a forum in which wakeboarders of all ages can come and discuss topics as well as to provide great wakeboarding content on the main WakeWorld website. A small minority of discussion board users seem to think that it's fun and amusing to push the buttons of the moderators by continually pushing the envelope on their posts and wasting the moderators' time as they tend to the errant posts. The amount of time that we have to spend to babysit these problem users and problem posts could be better spent generating wakeboarding content for the rest of WakeWorld's users to enjoy. I just spent over six hours dealing with discussion board admin issues in one day. That's an article that will never be written and never be seen by WakeWorld readers. Users that don't follow the rules are taking away from the users that do. In addition, they're creating an environment in which other users are afraid to start threads or even post messages. If you haven't already read our Posting Guidelines and Terms of Use, please do so now and follow these rules. I encourage everyone to take a stand against these folks that are taking away from you by discouraging this kind of behavior. If you have any questions, please email me at gobig@wakeworld.com.
