Guys, i would really appreciate some advice/ discussion:
ive sat in a LOT of boats over the winter. have been/ surfed in a lot for the past few years. read a LOT of threads here on wtb . Currently have a 2006 super air 220 TE that we love, but need to update a little. i dont mind an older more quality boat over a newer budget boat. im not an expert, or mechanic, in fact i started boating with my wife and kids just a few years ago. we mostly surf tube and cruise 80/10/10.

priorities:

-22 foot boat or as close to that as i can get (22.6' 220 fits nice in the garage. 21.6 G21 does too) however, anything over 23.0001 ' is starting to push garage size and towing comfort.
-14 passengers is the sweet spot for our fam
-7'8" high garage. my current tower has nearly killed me its so heavy getting up and down.
-surf wave is important, looking 2014-2018ish based on surf technology
-V-hull for better wave and smoother sailing?
-has to be 80k or less
-i have dealers for MB, moomba, Nauti, Axis/Bu, Sanger, centurion, supreme, tige, supra ALL near my home.
-quality of engine and body (longevity) way more important than fit/ finish.

THANKS very much

You won't find a 22' boat rated for 14 persons but you have young kids. Your current one pretty much fits the bill. I'm not up on good information from that era boats but for your current tower you could look at just adding some lift support struts like a rear hatch has but much stronger. If you find the stats it simple to weld on a couple bracket so they can attach to the tower.
Good luck. It's so fun bringing up kids in the boat.

what do you mean? even the g21 can hold 14 technically. we would rarely every pack that many people in a boat that small, but the size is more important due to the size of our garage.
reading a lot lately, i know how important the dealer is. Seriously considering late teen moomba vs MB OR early teen (2013-2015) top 4 (centurion, nautique, maliibu, supra)

doing a lot more research. loving the reputation of the MB f22 among owners and friends here's my short list
LEVEL 2:
2015-2017 Mb f22
2017-2020 moomba craz (alternate choice: Kaiyen or maybe decked out Max)
2015-2018 supreme v226

LEVEL 1:
2012-2014 nautique 22 OR G21 (willing to make an exception on the 21'6" 14 passenger, partly due to familiarity with nautique)
2014-2016 centurion fx22 or ri217 futhest of all the dealers from home.
2014-2016 supra sc/ sa? maybe? what the hell is the 22' supra ? 450? doesnt that sound like a 24' boat?

man prices have sky rocketed! i would love some feedback on newer "cheap" boat vs older model high-end

help a brother out guys. i need a 22' boat or at least 22- 22.5" boat. 85k is the limit. leaning towards a newer cheesy boat rather than an older "top 3"
