"Bone Crusher strikes again" The Bone Crusher is the white CIE X-star with 3k of weight in it. Mike ski said he saw the yellow Calabrea and Luke Dukes 2001 take a 3 foot wall of water over the front from the Bone Crusher.

I wouldn't be surprised if EVERY boat that parked on that side of the docks took on water over the bow. They should put a line of tires out there to keep us from spilling our beer.

well from the looks of the pic,it was taken after the malibu's bow hit the roller and came down.I don't think he put it in reverse. I was wondering what happened and why it happened? Depends on what the situation was at the time but from the looks of it.....not cool!

I think the most obvious was missed: "Holy S&^%$!!!!!!" Is it me or does it look like the rear cleat on the dock for the Malibu was ripped out? I watched my boat rip a cleat out of our dock when a 40' cabin cruiser went by at optimum "surf wake" speed.

The boat pulling the Dub up contest was throwing rollers into the dock. What you see is the result of a Mastercraft X star with 3000 LBS. Mikes Bu and the Calabrea have a pretty high bow. I would hate to think what would happen to my boat or a slope nose Centurion was parked like that. Its tough. They are throwing a Dub up contest close to the docks so we can all see but the by product is rollers close to the dock's

Big Ed- the 5mph zone in front of that dock at the marina is only about 200ft with nothing to block the rollers, so every time a boat went by the boats parked on that side of the dock were hit by the rollers. Of course it didn't help that the d-up contest was being held right out in front of it.

the du contest never threw rollers like this lol boats were cruising by the docks all day and their rollers never did much.. this boat was out in the middle of the lake and made a slight turn and created an interesting roller that was about 15 ft long.. we saw it coming and were checking on my boat when we noticed it was gonna miss our area of the dock.. about 15 ft from the dock this thing curled like an ocean wave! i couldnt believe the size and power of it as it hit the docks, at one point the nautique parked next to these boats was almost completely out of the water.. look through the turn table boats windshield and you can see how big and high the wave is!

Richard I was trying to be nice when I said these rollers were the results from the DU contest. They were not nessacary IMO. I would never park my boat there knowing the Bone Crusher was on the lake and lurking so close to the dock. The rollers were actually the result of the Bone Crusher comming close to the docks at speed and whipping the DU riders back into the dock. Did this need to be done? I dont know. I dont argue with a boat that could sink myn in one fell swoop LOL. I just get my little boat out of the way and go park some where else. Mike said he overheard guys in the bar Laughing at what the Bone Crusher was doing. I gues to them it was cool to swamp the boats at the docks

Actually when this pic was taken, the boat was out in the middle of the lake cruising from one end to the other and made a slight turn at speed.. the rollers they were throwing around the dock in the du contest were half the size of this thing..

Wow I am glad to here it was not from the bone crusher X Star I was driving for the double up contest. For those of you that dont know the CIE X STAR with 3000lbs of ballast is called bone crusher due to the fact that it was the boat CIE Allen busted his leg on the wake.

"Actually when this pic was taken, the boat was out in the middle of the lake cruising from one end to the other and made a slight turn at speed.. " I think this is correct. This did not happen during the contest, but during a warm up pass prior to the contest (I believe) "The rollers were actually the result of the Bone Crusher comming close to the docks at speed and whipping the DU riders back into the dock. " I could be wrong, but I recall this happening before the contest began. But, maybe it happened more than once. The riders were staging from the gas dock. Those boats were parked on the opposite end.

I bet that was when Grant's boat was all lined up in the sound off.... I swear his front seat cushions bounced 2" off their bases when the bass hit. You know earthquakes cause Tsunami's, right? LOL!!! Sorry guys..... There really isn't much you can do at that dock. The no-wake really does nothing to protect boats on the outside of the docks. 200 feet of water does little to slow a huge roller. There isn't any type of wave break. I missed that little episode, but I can tell you that the Bone Crusher was the victim of a Epic wake that almost put it on top of the dock at the house where we stayed. It took 4 of us to keep it from rocking up and on top of the dock. Big boats definitely = big wakes. We also took a huge roller over the bow on friday when it was tied up near where this pic was taken. I'd almost bet that roller is from more than one boat, but I could be wrong. The dub contest was purposely held down at the far end of the lake away from the docks. Luckily no-boat was harmed in the making of this picture. It's pretty amazing though.... Almost looked like a couple guys were going down with their ships. I love that the beer didn't get spilled. I'm assuming that Mike backed his boat in so that his carpets would get washed down.

In TN the law says you are responsible for any damage done by your boats wake no matter where you are driving. Home and boat owners are beginning to capture boater registration numbers and file complaints with TWRA.
