I'm sorry for what is about to follow. That Ronix setup is hilarious. Does it come with a head dress & a loin cloth? Chief Tumbling Dice say, "riding big wakes while wearing mocassin, make rider look like tree hugger". Getting back to our roots has gone a little too far IMO.

it doesn't "look sick" to me... it's more like "makes me sick"... but then again, I have 06 white and gum Shanes boot... so I'm not really in an arguing position... at least it fits my board... which is a total coincidence by the way... don't get me wrong... I really like natural wood finish... but only when it is really wooden... like on Arbor snowboards or surfboards... I know... the board look kinda yellowish now...

the board, I could handle. the mocassins, where I would have to draw the line. But hey, its different and they look pretty damn comfy. UPS took their sweet ass time getting my board to me. Not the newest stick in the woods, but I can't wait.

sweet. i'm coming from a 142 TFD that I felt was a little too big. So this should be my board. Its in my bedroom right now but I think it needs to be in the garage. it makes me excited and pissed all at once (pissited) everytime i look at it. just need air temp above 50 and i'll bust it out. good to hear cliff

Chris with that set up you need a pic of you riding in moccasins and feathers in your hair, maybe a tomahawk in one hand too. I like it though, it stands out.

Beast, did you let the WCJs talk you into riding Solbounds? You know Rod would probably buy 'em from you for a few hundo. Randy, thats cool you used the kiteboarding boots. Not a fan of closed toes?

Will I get all glassy eyed like Rod when I ask him about his Solbounds? I've never ridden the things but those that do swear by 'em. Mike Rogers should have made a few hundred extra & held them for a few years, he could have sold them for $600 each.

Yeah not a fan of closed toed. I demoed the Shane's and didn't really care for them so i opted for something a little bit more original. All i had to do was get the dual laces and it was good to go (and i got alot of looks like i was important riding protos, that is until they saw me ride)

Josh, Glad to hear how much you like the Natural with the RG1 bindings. I bought the Natural last fall, too late to get on the water so I am really excited to get going this spring. I've had the RG-1's for a couple of years now and have no desire to change.

You're in for a real treat with the Natural, Rich! I'm sure you've heard but the board is beyond amazing. I bought your same model RG-1s for my little sister. She loves them. I also just realized I have that same Belmont as you too. . . wierd. Maybe we're long lost twins? Do you have to stop supermodels from trying to make out with you all the time too?

Ryan, let's just say that the price was right. Also, being in California we say its the Oakland A's colors, which sucks cuz I hate the A's. Anyways enjoy your winter.

I used Avery Marks-a-lot permanent marker for the boot and sole but I used black fabric dye for the baseplate... I posted a topic about that a couple of weeks ago... here's the link... http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/410178.html?1171676813 I'd be grateful if you'd be original and do it your way instead of just copying what I did...

Jonathan, where do you get that permanent marker. I'm going to make my ltd shanes have some lime green so they match the LF Shane board I'm going to get.
