A toeside Front Roll with frontside 540. Handle is rotated above the head. I don't know how to do it though. seems like a crow 5 with a grab.

It's basically like a toeside frontroll version of a whirly 5. Their sick to watch. Trevor, you have to pass the handle on a Crow 5.

The late Todd Brendell could blast them reg. and switch. Ryan Davis was also pretty good at them as well.

I used to pull Brannan Johnson back in the day down in West palm, he would come down and ride with Watson and I (when we lived there). He learned the Big Worm by having the driver make a sharp turn as he cut into the wake to release a little slack in the line. Actually this is a pretty cool way to learn a whirly as well. But he would stick them everytime that way, pretty neat way to learn a new trick. I tried it a few times but always ate it.

Im at Full Sail still, but work here now. Try and get out and hit the water as much as possible. I would love to still be involved with the industry, but time just doesn't allow for much of that anymore. Traveling and puttin on demos is what I miss the most, meeting new riders that are stoked on the sport was always a great thing to see. I have to admit, at the age of 29 i feel like a dinosaur now. I open a magazine and there are all these kids killin it and Ive never even heard of them! But the progression is just insane, I cant beleive what is being done now on the water. Some of this stuff we werent even thinking of a few years ago. Thats what is great about wakeboarding though, being able to be apart of it in its infancy!

who invented the Big Worm? not that it really matters, I was just curious. I always thought it was Todd Brendel (RIP), but have heard Brannan Johnson was doing them before. Killer trick though. You don't see nearly enough of them anymore. IMO.

haha, I hear ya Joe! Train, I may be mistaken... But I believe Ryan Davis may have been one of the first to do it. But Todd was also doing a Diesel which if i can remember correctly was the same thing but one less 180. Brannan seemed to have been doing them but I dont think he was credited with inventing it. But heck, who knows... i may be completely incorrect about everything i say on here.

thanks Shaun. maybe Seibring will know. does anyone know if Brooks Ferrel is still around filming? he probably filmed a lot of "firsts" in the industry back in the mid to late 90's, as far as tricks go.

I think Shaun's right. Davis is the first I remember. Late 96 I think. Todd had the worm and the diesel shortly after followed by Brannon. Shaun - Long time old friend - check your email
