I have a couple of broken boards I'd like to make a wakeboard bench with. If you have one post pics please. I want ideas for frames.

Yup, I have to agree that this thing is pretty amazing! Brett does all the welding himself. I can't wait to hang it up and try it out!! I'm falling way behind on the reciprocation scale with this one! Thanks Brett!

Yes, they were warranty boards that were no longer sea-worthy!

I love the look but I really dont think that I could drill through a board without breaking my heart (unless it was truly thrashed). Anybody keep their bench boards usable? Sit on em in the winter and ride em in the summer.

I made mine to work that way. It's a perfect bench in the winter time and come summer I take out 4 bolts and the boards are good to go. (the bench is the wood one above)

Thanks for the compliments. It's always nice to have a project turn out as good as you expected, in this case even better. The boards have cracks in the gel coat and I think the core maybe broken on one. They are retired but will still be ridden by seņoritas with margaritas. Dave said he wants some drink holders, why didn't I think of that? Geri, I've put a few things together as a hobby but if I had to make the same thing over and over I'd hate going into my garage. I'll post it up again when it's done. I think jeff has the right idea, just look for a frame already made that may work.

Randy, some closeout site online. I don't remember where exactly, but if I do remember I'll post it. If I remember right, they ran out anyway. -Steve
