Hey,
I've got a '92 supra sunsport that when fully loaded feels like I'm putting a lot of strain on the engine, especially with the starts. Is a 4-blade prop going to help put less strain on the engine as well as help pull out of the hole? Also if so any recommendations on what prop to get?

I have a 4 blade prop that is actually plastic that has 4 allen screws so you can adjust the pitch on the fly. Also, if you happed to break a blade or two, you can remove the good ones and situate them so you can limp home on 3 or 4. I can't remember the name of the maker of the prop but it's been awesome for me so far. I am not sure if you have an I/O or a V-Drive or D-Drive, so that too might limit your selcetions. The prop I have is for my 4.3 Liter Bayliner at 19.5'......so it's not exactly a light boat and touch wood, prop has done well.

I am an Acme dealer. Let me know what engine you have, your loading, and current prop. I will let you know what my recommendation is.

Go with a 3-blade ACME 13x11.5. You won't be disappointed.
