Official WakeWorld Video Thread

Ok so I am making a video with everyones riding from WakeWorld. I am not quite sure how to get everyones footage but for now it would be nice if i could get a list of everyone who wants in and maybe some of the clips that you have or suggestions to the music.

Ok what I think will work is if everyone uploads their clips to vimeo or youtube and then i can use a media converter to just download them.

I'm game but uploading to Vimeo or youtube would be a bad idea. Are you going to edit compressed video? And then compress it again? Probably a bad idea. It would be easier for everyone to send you data DVD's. That way you will have a hard copy if anything goes wrong. Just make sure everyone labels them correctly and have all their tricks chopped up into different sections. If you don't feel like giving out your address you could set up a P.O. Box for a little while. Also, I would say that the riders are in charge of postage.

Love the idea...you need to establish a due date to put the pressure on. I'd love to send something but, I can count on two hands the amount of times I've gone riding. Pretty rusty.

I pretty much have all my own edited already. What program are you planning on using? I can get mine and one of my bro's done and send it to via data dvd. Shouldn't be to hard.

When do you want the footage by? I can send but as always it would be nice to send stuff at the end of the season. But I suppose you don't want to wait that long.

If it were me, I'd rather edit during the winter...set up a deadline like Nov. 1, most people who don't live in CA/TX or who are hard core quit riding by then. Give more time to get good vid, and then when you get done with the vid Dec/Jan, gives us something to look forward to during the long winter months. Wakeworld is slightly dead then...lots of talk, but little action. A new member vid mid-winter would stoke everyones fires.
