Has anyone had any problems with FAE? Basically, what are the pro's and con's... again any help will be great appreciated!!!

pros- the boat is way quieter and doesn't stink of exhaust.

cons- it takes .5 miles per hour off of your top speed (which I never go anyways).
it now takes half a second longer to remove my plug cause I have to reach around the FAE to get to it.

Its the best thing I've added to my boat and is the first thing I'll add to any other boat I own.

Is there a FAE that will fit around a Supra wake plate?

Couple questions:

Does FAE have a configuration for Malibu's running the hydraulic Wedge?

If I added turn downs to my boat, would it produce about the same effect as FAE?

JT- the power wedge is electric not hydraulic. Turn down exhaust won't be near as quiet as FAE, but the FAE for a power wedge boat is HUGE!

Appreciate the info. I'm not so concerned with noise (I kind of like the noise) as I am with Carbon Monoxide. Do you think the turn downs would have a similar effect as FAE, maybe not as much but better than straigh exhaust with rubber flappers?

I'll have to check out my wedge a little closer, I thought it was a hydraulic ram that lowered/raised the foil?

It's a screw cylinder using electric motors to move it up and down. You wouldn't want anything hydraulic back there and blow a hose in the water :-)

I have turn downs on my boat and they don't extend into the water like the FAE, so the turn downs don't decrease carbon monoxide when riding.
