To answer your question DBC, it was a few things. First off we had put on almost 100 hours in our first year which is a lot for Canada. I had a few issues with the software as well as a couple other issues but was taken care of by MMS. At the end of the year I looked at the new 2013's which had a few improvements I really liked: New Murphy Touch screen system, improved and adjustable ballast system, a few cosmetic improvements, chrome speakers, etc.. My dealer made me an offer I couldn't turn down so I went for it and chose all the same options but upgraded the motor to the 6.0 in the process. I had the 5.7 in my last boat and it was honestly great but i don't think I will be buying another boat again soon and the price difference was reasonable so I opted for the extra ponys.
I was happy with my 2012, but both MMC and Mastercraft really went the extra mile for people who had some issues with their 2012 boats and I think it says a lot about both companies.
