Jeff Langley's all new 2013 The Bruce hybrid flex board. This board has so much tech in it from our fusion core, Dura-Rail, Impact base material, Delta base contouring, center spine, all-new 5-stage rocker - to quote Jeff "It's fast and loose as..." - (you fill in the blank!). He's also rocking the 2013 Nomad's in this picture.

The Bruce looks similar to the Witness shape to me aside from the chevron things on the bottom and the fin placement... so maybe actually nothing like the witness aside from outline of the board. After riding some slingshot stuff and
then riding a tradition board I have trouble getting over the thickness and weight of a tradional board. Am I the only one that feels this way? Also I see no similarity of the Baker to the Watson. Anyone spot anymore new Hyperlite stuff?

Really?? RON1X's graphics are that amazing? "Ohh lets see, maybe if we try the same font as our logo, turn it sideways.. yes! That's it!"
I'm really disappointed in their art direction that's all.

I loved the graphics on the ONE for the first 2 releases but after that it was just more of the same. The new District looks like they are going off the 2006 Hyperlite Premier ala "vision skateboards Gator" or maybe its the pro model for one of the guys from LMFAO

What is that neon yellow LF board. It looks like the one that Daniel Grant was riding in:

Didn't see it in any of the new LF stuff. Looks a little like a Witness Hybrid maybe.. please....

Keith,
Great Hyperlite pictures, thanks for those. Any pictures of the new System bindings? Any word on color setups, are they sticking with the black/white and red/white? Thanks

Those systems look awesome. So I'm guessing they opted out of the red/white color combo? I've seen most the system bindings, marek, webb, aj, nick davies, but haven't seen the murrays yet. Anyone spotted them?

Wow, he doesn't have a system binding? Wonder why that is. It says a lot when the guy they put in the videos promoting the system, changes to a non-system binding.

You think? I don't, the art stylings are very similar this one is just not so "busy" I liked them both.
The obrien boards are cool but their graphics are hurting, looks like 1998 again.
The hyperlite Union and a few other decks look sick!
Slingshot still can't be topped. That ennen artwork never fails, the only ugly/non piece of art in their line is the reflex.

I agree with Simple that Slingshot has blown it out of the water this year! I am dissapointed with the reflex graphic too, seems like a waste to cover up all the wood like that. here is a pic of the Hyperlite Team's that Murray is riding. Its a small pic but you get the idea

What else are the companies going to do with their old molds? That's all that Free Motion was back in the day. Makes you wonder where Wakeology bought theirs.. Maybe early 2000's from o'brien?

Wakeology boards are not recycled molds. We shape our own boards and have new molds made. Get up with me if you want to test one out to see for yourself.

Im curious what everyones thoughts will be on CWB going with the 4-hole pattern on their cable/park boards like Company/Slingshot did a few years back.

i guess i personally have not noticed this with CWB.
4 hole i thought was great on my slingshot. I never had to worry about double checking that my bolts were tight... which is a good thing because it was a little bit of a pain to get the screwdriver lined up inside the boot. changing stance angles was a breeze which was nice if you shared your board with others.
BUT there was a major flaw with heel and toe lift with the slingshot/company design. the only actual HARDware was that circular disc under the ball of your foot. the 4 inches or so of toe and heel was just dense EVA foam that would lift when you edged hard.
Another flaw was that it raised the boot off the board a half an inch which goes astray from recent movements to get the riders foot closer to the board.
hopefully CWB found a way to remedy the problem of boot height and heel toe lift if it is true that they went with four hole.
but with all this said, are you sure what you are saying is true? if it is, i have a hard time imagining that the boards would be compatible with their entire boot line (or other brands') unless they have the traditional inserts on the board as well like slingshot did its second year.

From the looks of the video shoot it seems like they are trying to keep the graphics a little more clean. Similar to Ronix with nothing crazy but mainly the logo and some colors.

the only boot in the line is the prizm boot from cwb that has the 4 hole compatibility. I have the 2013 catalog and was just curious if this will pigeon hole some of their products.. like how burton etc has had the 3D (3 hole) pattern

The 2013 ronix stuff looks pretty cool. A couple of gimmicky things in there but i'm sure they will sell well to newbies... LED lifejackets and an LED strip on one of their cable boards? Kind of reminds me of light up shoes for kids.
Anyone else here see a lot of similarities in the Ronix catalog to a Burton snowboard catalog? Just the comic names for the different board feature, flex levels, etc.. not hating at all just pointing it out.

A LED lifejacket is a great concept for night surfing etc... The LED in the board is fine with me as long as they are not trying to say it improve the boards rideability. Why not put LED's in there if you can, people seem to love putting them under their swimplatforms on their boats. I think it could be pretty cool looking but still not enough to get me to want a Ronix anyways.

I agree it would be cool concept for surfing, if they put it on a surfboard. I saw a pic on here before where a guy rigged up a glowing halo around his surfboard with some battery pack.. that looked pretty trick.
Looking back, it is a cable board so I guess some parks are open at night anyways, so kind of cool I guess. Just seems like a gimmicky thing to attract buyers. Again, not hating on them at all, gotta love marketing!!

now i am really curious how they bolt on and rotate and how they would still mount onto another brand of wakeboard. surely they will work on other brands too, otherwise CWB has cut themselves off from many potential buyers of the prizm boot. but then again it wouldn't kill them either if they didn't work on other brands.

From what I gather the difference is the material in the ankle straps. They call it Flexion and it's supposed to move with your foot better and be more comfortable. I think the regular '13 Systems are largely the same as this years.

BG, looks to be the same for both sizes... here is the DB9
and description.
The highest tech, lightest, greenest board in our line just got more high tech, lighter and greener. We start with a 5 lb/ft3 density PVC foam. Insert a 3.5” wide poplar wood stringer from tip to tail. The wood helps bond the top to the bottom and provides a consistent flex. The top shell incorporates bamboo to add strength and reduce weight. This unique process is the lightest and strongest on the market. The DB9 shape is clean and fast. The flat bottom design features a huge center spine that runs tip to tail which softens landings. The beveled edge rail adds strength and allows a smooth edge change. Four aluminum fins are bolted to the continuous rocker shape for the perfect amount of grip. Josh Twelker slays up the Delta on the DB9 and Daniel Powers has the east coast in order when it comes to jaw dropping style.

Cwb's vibe and groove look sick this year. Prism boots are nice too.
