How much better are the fly high sacs specifically made for the X2? I have used the regular fly high v drive sacs and they seemed to fit fine even with the shorter sundeck.

the sacs weigh the same. 440 lbs each so the wake is comparable. i was just wondering if the sacs specific for the x2 are that much of a better fit.

Why do you have your vent on the top? Doesn't your seat get in the way or pop up when full. Mine has a fitting on the starboard end, does yours?

I have the exact same boat you do, with the exact same ballast system in the rear. Even with 500lbs of lead in the nose, and a 500lb sac in the walkthrough I have a ton of trouble getting on plane. Do you have the same problem with your rigs?

Oh man I'm so jealous! I think I ordered that same system from wakeside and I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival. Unfortunately I think they are backordered or something because it keeps getting delayed.

zues- wakeside has the custom X2 3-sac kit for $1250. It's hard to find on the site, but if you click on ballast systems it is off to the right side of your screen.

Josh..........I have had the same problem you do with the boat planing out. I've tried loading the front down with more weight, changing props (as per Zane Schwenk's advice) and several other ideas but if there's 5+ people in the boat I simply dump the stock ballast and it planes fine. That flake looks sick on the water at night.

Zack - I think that we have both tried everything under the sun then! I have heard that switching out the prop to the acme 1285? or 1245? really makes a big difference. Are you saying that even with a prop change the boat doesnt really act that differently? Bummer! All in all i think its a great looking and riding boat, I just gotta figure out how to get more then 4 people in it when I got the thing weighted down like a hog! hahah

Thanks. The Fly High system works great. The front sac fits perfectly, and does not pop up the seats when full. The vent is in the top to let any air out as well as vent when the bag is full. There are two fill holes one on either side of the bag at the rear bottom corner. The boat comes on plane easily with this system full as well as the stock system full. Just dont put more than a few people in the boat. I have the standard 2006 prop. There rear bags fit perfectly and still leave some room for storage. You will not need any more weight than this. Like I have said before though, the factory system is great if you have a good amount of people in boat. This Fly High system just compensates for a lack of extra passengers.

Hey Brandon: What sort of underwater lighting are you running. It looks like light is shooting from the transom aera back. It dosent look like traditional downfire LED platform lighting.

Yeah your right, its pointed back, It is not mounted to the platform firing down. I am using an Abyss light model S-600. It is an excellent product. Abysslite.com
