I'd like to hear from the Byerly board owners what kind of bindings they use and if they are happy with their choice?

Just bought a Byerly 132 and is wondering if the new Byerly bindings 2006 are a good choice?

what wakeboard you have is irrelevant when buying a new pair of bindings. what matters is what's comfortable for your feet.

check these bindings out.

06 lf watsons
06 cwb zeus
06 hyperlite murray

Hi Joe, (Is that your sister showing in your profile?)

Since the Byerly board was more a knee bent style, I thought the bindings had to be designed accordingly.

Michel you have it turned around, the bindings are for knees bent style. The board is a straight up pop kind of style as opposed to a distance style of others say a Belmont style rocker (continuous)sp.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Why do they refer to the knees-bent style in the "marketing" text for the Byerly boards. I am all mixed up. Can someone please turn the lights on?

I've always wondered what that means as well. i have yet to see some wakeboard and not have their knees bent a little, like on a cut not just standing there.

watch Byerly when he rides. his left arm is bent, like a hook. this adds to his already ridiculous style. still my favorite wakeboarder of all time. although I could not tell you when the last time he rode a wakeboard was.

You are a victim of marketing my friend.

Glad to hear it, my choice for bindings has just been made wider.

So much for narrowing your choices eh...

All the boots mentioned above are potentially the ones for you. Get out there and try some. Many boots have a little extra forward lean in them, if thats how you ride it will fit perfect(Style wise that is), if not it could kill your calves for awhile.

I think they are refering to taking a slower, more squated aproach to the wake, which will give you more pop because you are loading the line

michel, what do you do [or don't do] during the day? it seems that after that last post, you have way too much free-time on your hands.

I wish I had too much free-time!

It took only 20 minutes and was done after hours boss ...

Was useful for me, I thought it would for others.
