I put mine all the way out with both feet ducked evenly at 16°. Usually about 10° is a good starting point. Then go ride, make a hard heelside cut and lean over backwards and lay your head back and see if your comfortable. You can also stand on your bed, or couch, or coffee table, and jump off, and do your best to land in a stance where if I was to push you instantly you wouldn't fall over. Look at your feet then mimic the position on your wakeboard in terms of angle and distance apart.
