What is the name of this grab. I've heard it called Canadien Bacon. Is that correct? Rider - Jordan Patterson

This might sound crazy but my friend Michael did it in a competition and they told him he could name it and he named it the goat grab that was about three years ago. It would be awesome if it was named that because he is a good friend of mine and it would be rad if he named a trick.

I don't know I remember someone doing that in the x-games once for snowboarding. You might want to look into that or skatingboarding.

I submit another vote for chicken salad, at least that's what they were calling them back in the day. Don't bother looking to skateboard terminology to help you with that one.

Dude, if you're that limber, go ahead and try to figure out the crail and/or nuclear grabs, both impressive grabs, and thus avoiding any food-related connotations. Or if you are dead set on sticking with the food groups, learn your roastbeef grab on a toeside jump, that one can look pretty good if boned out and held.

I'm pretty sure that that's a canadian bacon. chicken salad is something with the back hand grabbing heelside somewhere. mosquito is a grab with the front hand.

Thanks Greg! Not sure when I'll be back up that way, but when I am I will give you a shout! I am sticking with Chicken Salad. I remember Leslie Kent doing them and she's got such long arms - she made them look like a piece of cake! I've never been able to do one

It is not a chicken salad, a chicken salad is very similar to a roast beef except the arm is twisted with the thumb pointing the other way. That grab might be a canadian bacon or perhaps a tai pan? i've heard that before too. But its not a chicken salad

When did this turn into the cooking forum? Canadian bacon, chicken salad, roast beef...Dude, I hit the sickest asian noodle salad into a wonton soup last night! Still trying to land the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, so close!

Come on guys, we were trying not to go there. Leave it to the Monday morning crew. Yet another post runs its course by eventually regressing to the lowest common denominator... (sigh)

I think a chicken salad sounds good right now but from what I know it is with the back hand between the legs, back edge of the board between the legs. Not sure if the elbow is facing forward or back, one is a roast beef, the other a chicken salad. Mango, we call that grab a brain grab and usually do it for tubers or jetskiers. It is kind of entertaining to do with a tantrum.

It looks kinda lame...Why not just go for a big fashion air next time. Or, like mango said, you could always do a nut grab.
