Here is my attempt at making my own tower speakers. I bought most of the supplies at Lowes and www.partsexpress.com. I used boston acoustics rc61 components. Here are the parts I used:
2- 6" PVC caps
6" pvc drain pipe, comes in 2' sections at lowes
2- 1.25" pvc caps
2- 2" diameter pipe hangers
PVC primer and cement
Epoxy for around the end cap
I got my speaker terminals from partsexpress, I also bought a can of quiet kote from them. I am just waiting on the speaker grills. If anyone wants better detail on exactly how I built them i can post it, just let me know.
What do you think??
