Ray,
What do you call "Nice" and "inexpensive"? That could describe my wife....but not my ex though.
Give us an idea of what your objective is and I'm sure you will get more detailed replies.
Good luck

A nice inexpensive pair. I'm sure if you look around the site, you'll find some expensive pairs as well!

i bought two pairs of the billet cans on e-bay a while back for $35 each, and then stuffed them with alpine spr-174a's, they sound killer, you could get the sps-174' for about $45 a pair on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3088668447&category=32 819they dont handle as much power, but they still sound way good, then hook them up to a mrp f240 foraround $120 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3088907807&category=39 740 we use these at work alot, they sound way killer for the price, you could pull it all off for around 5 bills, which isnt bad. those ebay ads are just for example.

I'd second BT Lowe's rec. I've got a pair of those Kicker tower speakers and they sound really good. Just make sure you have some good clean power going to them (I run them off a Kicker 400.2 amp) and they'll sound super.

I just bought a pair of Infinity tower speakers on ebay for 177.50. I do not have them yet, but I have heard that they are nice. Even if they are not, I can replace the speakers for under 100.

Find some decent cans on ebay, put some good speakers in them and buy a good high power amp from hookedontronics and your set. Or http://www.TyteBox.com

Check out the selection on Wakeside.com. They offer a wide range of choice in many price ranges. Some of the mfg's offer them without speakers, which allows you to choose whatever price and setup fits you best.

I have cans that I sell to Wakeworlder's for much less than most.

E-mail me.

The least expensive is to make your own, check out www.diytower.com for plans. Try to hook up with Raul as well. For Amps there are some decent Sony's at www.IkeSound.com and ebay and other places for about $100 to $150 that do a good job for the money.
