Why do you need a new drive shaft?
Mine was bent from the strut bushing back to the prop. I took the shaft to a machine shop and in about 20 minutes they had it straight.
If you can make a Drive shaft for under 350 then good luck. I just hope you can tapper the shaft and thread stainless steel and slot it for a keyway. stainless is HARD metal and requires some seriuos tools and expensive machines to produce this shaft. unless you have machine shop friends then cough up the 350 and make life easier on yourself. Oh and maybe Call CC back and let them no they are still sane.
