I would like to have a tower that looks nice, will work with the factory bimini top, folds so I can put the boat in the garage, easy to install, is not a head knocker, add doesn't cost $10,000. There seems to be alot of choices but, I am wanting to her some real world experiance with them. Thanks

definately look at the trimetric. he is very reasonably prices and very killer foldable swoop tower. sanger uses them on some of their boats like mine. it is called the radius tower. it kind of bows out a bit to fit larger bims. neely has one also. give rick a call at 510-791-2922. you will also save some loot.

Hey John - I also have a Sylon tower on my V210. Can you raise it with one person? I have to have someone on each side to pull the lower support arms in when raising the tower. It is nice and snug, but kind of a pain. Is this normal?

What about getting a Proflight? That is what comes standard on the Sangers, Centurions, and Supremes. They are in Modesto and I had them install the swoop on my Centurion. They have a lot of options as far as color and accessories for a reasonable price and fold down easily just by removing two knobs. Plus they were close and had it done in a quick time.

Dave, it is a little tight, Not bad. I do it by Myself, One of the knobs is a little hard to start, but when it is tight it does not rattle. I did not say but it is a Tuna tower, Not sure if they are still made. Fits under My garage door by less than 2 inches. Then when it is in I can stand the tower back up,just barely.

I have the Swoop tower too and love it. It folds back and rests on the back of motorbox. I cant lower it by myself cause it is too heavy with 4 speaker cans and racks. Can post picts on Monday. Rick

Trimetric is the way to go and you’ll save $600+ over a Proflight. We installed one on my buddies v210 within a few hours. The part that took the longest was measuring everything 3 times before drilling... Here's a time lapse video of the install. http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=8109 The great thing about the Trimetric swoop design (see Ty's pic) is that it's extra wide giving you room for a full-size bimini!

Thanks TY. Things are going well! I have all the parts for the ballast system now I just have to make the time to install it all.... We've been riding the lagoon after work and on the weekends, so that pretty much sucks up all my free time... Since I leave the ballast filled when I pull the boat I don't really have a need for the system until I go to delta (which has only been once this summer... 5 minutes vs. 1 1/4 hr drive). When's the next Sanger Regatta?

Kelly, The Pro Flight Swoop is now the OEM tower on Sanger although there are many other towers that will fit your boat and are good quality. Check it out: http://www.wakeside.com/miva/merchant.mv?page=W/PROD//pro_flight_swoop_tower Mike http://www.wakeside.com
