All,
I'm new to this forum but not new to Wakeboarding.
I'm based in the UK and am looking for a new board. I have searched and read what I could find but nothing really helped. Any comments/advice would be appreciated.
I have boarded for c12 years and for most of it have ridden a CWB Pure. I have had various bindings but have recently bought Ronix One bindings which I love! The issue is that the old CWB Pure has threads for the old style 8" plates where as the bindings have 6" plates. I have made do with them on the Board but due to where the holes are it means the bindings are too close together even on the furthest apart option. This has been a very long winded way of saying I need a new board!
Anyway, I don't really have an option for "try before you buy" near where I am so I would welcome some input.
I ride the CWB Pure without fins but it has some pretty big channels on the base which gives more than enough stability.
Is there a board that you would recommend I move to from this? I was looking at the Ronix One ATR. Is there any reasion why this would not be a good move from the CWB? It seems to have pretty deep moulded channels similar to the CWB but please say if I am wrong!
Is teh Ronix Timebomb particularly better than the ATR?
I also looked at the Hyperlite Marek but think this may be too aggressive!
Any thoughts/suggestions would be great.
Thanks
Dave
