I have a bad temp gauge on my 98 Sanger DLX. So, instead of hunting down an OEM gauge, I have found a gauge kit with all 6 gauges by teleflex that look alot more modern than the current stock units. Are these simply a plug and play or am I opening a can of worms? The boats motor is the fuel injected mercruiser competition ski 350. The price seems descent for a set. I would leave the hour meter gauge so I dont mess with that. Here is what I am looking at (the inboard kit):

Also, the boat has 2 speedometers, I dont really understand why. They seem to be able to adjust the needle as well, I suppose as some sort of way to calibrate it. I am a newb when it comes to inboard boats, but I was explained it has to do with being a cometition towboat. Would I be hurting the boats value if I put in a regular speedometer? Should I leave one of the stock speedos? I would really like to bring the look of the gauges to be a bit more modern looking but I dont want to do somethign that may kill its value whenever I decide to sell/upgrade.
