2nd the up flat as well.... after building the flat, it would only take how much longer to throw up that up flat??? If its an all weekend thing, the up flat would be rad...

hitting a skate rail on a wakeboard is boring to look at let alone hit...i think everyone was referring to the traditional up-to-flat that has been up...where the flat is 4-5 ft above the water and more like +40' long (Message edited by romes on January 22, 2010)

jr, in his original post he said "im thinking just the 20' flat for skating". if he has skating in mind then the flat bar will be better so people can get tech with lock in tricks and shuv/bigspin combos, not just 1080s across rails. haha

i was thinking about just a 20 flat (the wakeskate rail). i love skating as much as gluing my space boots to my wakeskate or "wakeboarding" as its called. i am down to do another rail, i.e. up to flat, but it comes at a cost...time. i was thinking about just a one day event. the 20 flat is there and built...all we would have to do is drop it in the water and shred. you want more? im down. boths days and camping there? im down. i would need help setting up, and i know there is always a crew ready to help. another thing is cost. i was thinking $5 each for a day on the 20 flat. no tee's or other BS. just you and the rail. you want 2 days and the up to flat? im down, but i need to talk to vallejo about use of the pool and costs. it would probably be fine as long as we dont conflict with some swim meet or something like that. no dates set yet. let me know if you have one in mind (not valentines weekend). so what ch'all think?

Yeah man this sounds good, I def want a longer rail though. I would be fine with doing one day one rail but its gotta be at least a 40ft flat or I could just learn how to skate hahahaha.

weekend thing sounds the best. the amount of rails depends on how many winchs you can get out there. dont you have one of Als?

Cheah right I can hardly pop on a skate. I would nut the rail everytime i know it. Lets just add 20 more ft and do 40ft flat and ill be happy. If we get enough interest we can do it but if not then Ill be operating the winch mostly but I guess theres no better place to learn. Regardless we are gonna have a good time so lets get this thing rolling forward.
