Yes, that is a great prop, I have many customers that are using OJ 14.25 x 14 on Nautiques. I prefer OJ's myself.

Nautique uses a 13.50x14.25 for the team power prop on the 210's. I was told that the 14.50x14.25 could not be used. The prop would come too close to the hull and cause blistering/burns in the glass. I don't know if a .25 smaller would work. I would call OJ, Acme or Correct Craft. Good luck.

Looks like OJ needs to update. It shows Nautique as a right hand rotation. That is pre-2007. The 210 had a hull change that year as well.

They have 14.25x14 LH for the new 210 hull, we have many customers using this prop with not 1 problem ever.

Hey Jeff-You haven't seen cavitation blisters or burns in the hull above the prop? I was told by Acme and Nautique not to use the 14.50 for that reason. I know you can use that prop on all other Nautique v-drive models. I was told not to on the 210. Can you measure how much room is between the top of the prop and hull of one of those 210's? Looks like you have 2 in your showroom. Nautique does not offer the prop you are talking about. What prop do you order with your boats?

Jeff-I pulled up Acme's site and they don't show a 14.25. Maybe Acme needs to update their site as well. http://www.acmemarine.com/prop-list_ski-boat.php

So, how many more times is the 14.25 going to be recommended, and how many more people are going to post up that the 14.5 is not the correct prop for a 210 Those numbers after the "." mean something!

Yes Richard Do Not use a 14.50, but 14.25x14.00 is ok and preferred for a boat with lots of extra ballast, if you are not going to add a lot of weight, then no reason to run a 14.25 IMO.

Jeff (innov8), You might want to clarify what 'all "Super Air" Nautiques" means. I know for a fact that my 230 (and a couple others) came with the Acme 1235 prop which is a 14.5 prop. I know this thread started about the 210 but there are other "Super Air" Nautiques than the 230 and your comment might be misinterpreted. No harm, just picking nits. http://www.wakeside.com/product/boat/accessories/boat_propellers/1235+-+acme+4+blade+propeller.do

Either our 14.25 X 14 or 14.25 X 14 will work well, depending on the amount of ballast added. Our 14.25 X 14 was used to test the first LH rotation boats as the other prop builder did not have any in that size/rotation at the time.

I will clarify Dave. You can run ACME or OJ 14.25x14 on 07 new hull and later 210's. I never said you could not run an Acme 14.50x14 on a 230, just not on a 210. I see what you are saying with my Super Air comment though and I agree, sorry for any confusion.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to pick on you. Just making sure that someone else didn't read it the way I did initially until I realized the topic again.

We just got our 2010 210 Team today and it came with an ACME 1579 which is the same 13.50 x 14.25 as last year. I was hoping you were right about all Super Airs coming with a 14 x 14.25 as I was keen to give it a go but unfortunately not....

Well then its a dealer thing, our 2010 210's have the 14x14.25, we must just order our 210's with ACME 1433. I have been behind many with the 1579 and the 210 does fine with this prop. What motor did you get John Zr6 or 343?

That's a bit of a drag i didn't know there was an option. I was interested to try the bigger one to see if there was any difference. We got the ZR6. It has the same engine and prop as our 09. We have no problem with the performance but if there was something different/better we were keen to give it a go. All other specs are the same for the 1433 other than 0.50 larger diameter so it would be interesting to see if there was a noticeable change in performance. Now to learn how to use this LCD screen Today should be the first day on the water. We are in Australia so it's getting warmer here, not colder!

Congrats on your 2010 210 great choice!! With the zr6 in a 210, no need for the 14x14.25, boat has plenty of pull to get out of the water, even loaded down. We order most of our 210's with the 343. With the 14X14.25 the 343 gets out of the water better. Enjoy your new boat!!

My 07 210 came with the 645 ACME, I load the boat up and wanted to get out of the hole quicker so I called ACME -since I do a lot of riding at the river they got me the 1465 -sd its just like the 1579 but thicker for the debris that float around in the river. Prop works great, no complaints.

This is the prop we prefer and have used OJ 14.25x14. (Message edited by innov8 on October 26, 2009)
