So update on price. The actuators I was originally quoted were goofy and to replace the actuators with a normally closed actuator they will be $48 which to me is getting to be a bit high but still doable for me. My original intent is to not use the restrictive solenoid valves because of all the pressure it takes to overpower them thereby restricting the water and taking more time to fill/empty.
chris: They are made by KLD brand model kld20s with a kt2 actuator (see attached). are you familiar? Are they complete junk? I am talking direct to china about which actuator to use. Also would you know of a lead on another company who would make something similar that would cost anywhere close to or less than this? Maybe the spark shielding will let me use the simer pumps in my setup.
dhcomp: the actuators they originally recommended were open/close depending on how power was applied (they stayed at last state). But they also make an actuator for more money that is a normally closed setup which I think most would need. (read up)
Cody: I have an internal ballast setup already the factory put the through hull in for me I was going to replace all the factory stuff with my own setup.
