I'm looking at this boat and want to see what people know about the year of this boat and whether it is a good price. The main thing that scares me is that the motor had to be replaced due to a bad engine the dealer said. They have paperwork on the engine and it was done not too long ago but I need some help in determining whether or not I should take the risk. It is in great shape and this will be my first wakeboard boat. Any help would be appreciated. I would even go as far as to ask you to call the dealer and act interested and see what he tells you over the phone. I'm not the most boat savvy but I wasn't born yesterday either. If you can E-mail me at my personal on MCampbell1985@gmail.com that would even be more awesome. Thx. http://onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=816272}
That seems to be a good boat and a good price. If it is a new motor that is a huge plus. And new interior big plus also. Only thing I personally don't like about that boat is the tower but that wouldn't stop me from buying it nor the motor issue. Go see it and check everything out yourself.
hard for me to comment on the shape of that particular boat, but i can say that you will love the wake that it will create. i myself have a 2000 XStar and love it! the price seems more than reasonable, but it doesn't hurt to try and get it for less.
I think the price is pretty good as well. One thing I would say - if the upholstery and engine both needed replacement, there is a decent chance that it has been neglected - so I would look for other signs. Is there gelcoat blisters below the water line? What is the condition of the carpet?
That's a great boat, puts out a great wake. I would take a closer look and if all is good, buy it. Of course I would try to buy it cheaper, but that seems to be a good price.
