This is my second year of having a boat and the first year was a more of getting everything bought and getting everything good to go. This year I'm starting to modify the boat. I'm gonna weld up an extended pylon and do some stereo upgrades and redo the seating and such. Anyways, I need to think of a name or something ta put on the back of the boat like people do. I'm 16 and this is my dad's boat he basically bought for me( my family used it once and I took it out about 12 times, and I maintain it) I want something that is cool sounding but nothing too vulgar or ya know, unappropriate. Any body have any ideas? The boats a 20 foot I.O. with the reliable and pretty peppy 4.3 v6. I just use it to wakebaord, wakeskate behind and once in a while tubing. I wanna come up with a catchy cool,"hip" saying or name or something.

You should just name it "Air Marathon LSV" or something along those lines.

I think Kevin meant that "in the black reference" is that you not in debt for the boat, like most boat owners are. In the black is good, in the red is bad. Its a finacial thing.

I like a name that means something to me but is a bit obscure to anyone else, using your information how about these: Twelve two one You used the boat twelve times for every one time your family did. Then use two instead of to, kind of a code. DadIO Your dad’s IO, kind of a 1950s hey Daddy-O maybe not cool for a sixteen year old Powaman Your handle Four Pint Three Peppy The motor Noth’n Vulgar Anti Rice – my favorite From your web page

Travis, call it "Child's Play" since you are the kid of the family, and it's basically your toy, it would only make sense to name it how it's used. Our boat is named 2nd Generation, because it was my grandpa's boat for many years, and now it's my dad's boat, so it's pretty self explanitory.

Cirrhosis of the River - heard that somewhere and it's been a favorite since. I think and X-Star, VLX or Tige Riders Edition graphic on the side would be a real head turner! I almost did that to my SeaRay outboard.

A friend bought his own boat in high school (cash advance via mastercard) it was not quite as nice as your's in some choice earthtones, they called it the PUKESTER, inspired by the colors. Not ripping your boat just telling a true story. Name it something that reflects how you feel about it. By the way, we had way more fun in the Pukester then in any of the fancy boats we have now. There were a couple young guys ripping it up out at the delta in an older outboard last summer, they had a boombox bungeed to the bow, they were having way more fun then anybody else that day. What's wrong with "THE PIMPRIG" as you have titled the picture? Congrats on your boat!

I might name it the pimprig, i doubt my dad would care. Just because I'm 16 and have a boat doesn't mean I'm rich. Were hard workers. We work hard for our money and I have worked since I was 13 for my dad. Now I have a good paying job at at a top ranked local collision repair center and am able to pay for the toys I have. But ya right now I'm thinking about either The Pimprig or childs play, but I keep getting new ideas here so who knows.

I was just quoting the Dave Chepelle Show. Do not be alarmed. When I was sixteen, my dad had three boats. The only problem was that there were wooden and I had to sand and stain and sand and stain those bastards every summer. No offense meant. At the end of the day, the boat name should mean something (funny, ,etc.) to you and your family and friends.

Hey Travis You gotta go with something that has meaning to you. My favorate song is AC/DC's "THUNDERSTRUCK" I have a lot of stereo in my boat and the name just fit. Some people say it makes no sense but if you think about it.....Lightning stricks but being struck by a thunder of base before you even see the boat...well it works for me. Look at some song titles. Later, Shawn
