I am building a boat house on the San Bernard River. I am looking for some ideas I have not thought of. Here is what I have so far.
Bottom Story- double boat house 30'x32'
4' walkway on each side and down middle
12.5'x25' L-head pier
Fish cleaning station
Electrical large boats to tie up (overnight)
Top story -30x32 deck w/ shade over structure
zip-line
diving board
bbq pit
stereo
tiki bar
Any more good ideas?

6th story with rope swing on one side and fireman's pole on the other that leads to the boat slip, I'll chip in $25 a week for gas and have the wife do dishes.

Well, I back my boat into a garage on a trailer but I'm adding a closet rod and wakeboard racks on a wall next to the boat so I can unload all the wet stuff directly from inside the boat. It's much easier than climbing in and out all the time, and it will also make loading up the boat easier.

that's a good idea except its going to be difficult unloading directly from the boat with a 4ft peir on both sides. what i did, is have the wall at the front of the boat with the racks for boards and whatnot. the hangers go between two pylons (boathouse is actually under the house so they were more than needed) so you can hang up the wetsuits and vest out of the boat then just hand someone the boards.

I'll take the penthouse floor and would appreciate a rooftop, infinity pool, hot tub and some real grass (in order to be more environmentally friendly). No need for stairs or an elevator; I'd like a helicopter pad and helicopter please.
I'd also appreciate a gas pump near the water, but one that runs on thank you's and handshakes so that I can fill my boat back up once my friends leave after a day of riding.
I'm cool with Greg's 3 daughters washing my boat too, but I'm pretty picky and don't let just anyone wash my boat so I'll need to see some resume's and some pics***.
***Note, if your daughters are under the age of 18, I was referring to pics of other boats they've washed to go along with their resume. If they are over 18, pics in general are fine.

Greg, what does YOUR WIFE look like man! I have 2 girls myself (10 and 6) and if they grow up to look like that I am in DEEP TROUBLE. I will have to have my 2 boys be MMA fighters just for my own piece of mind.

You post this and expect serious suggestions from the whole lot of us who trailer? lol
In any event, a simple twin slip (wake boat and go fast) with lifts to accommodate each, and an upper level to keep things dry below would be more than adequate for my needs. BBQ, benches, and some shade either a roof or umbrella is fine. Suggest a small dock section 6'xwahtever length on lower level that will not be covered, so you have room at water level to sit and enjoy the water without boats and such being in the way.

You should make the two slips far enough apart that you can fit a BLOB in between them pertruding from the front of the dock. then build a "podium" style thing on the 2nd floor so that you can jump off on launch anyone on the blob!! Definitely needs hammocs (spelling?) I mean who doesn't like a freakin hammoc. Maybe a water trampoline or a trampoline on the second story... yes I know that's crazy but it would be so fun! I never stop dreaming of these things I could go all day.
